At the end of May, 2018, Balıkesir Municipality lodged a tender for the generation of electricity from methane gas in the “Solid Waste Regular Storage Area” located in the boundaries of the central district, Altıeylül. LANDFILL company, which won the tender, commenced investments within 1 month. In this project, our company took part in starting the power generation business by providing engineering support along with the regular waste collection system, the creation of gas chimneys, piping and rigoling/rigging processes.
